(RED 1) The minimum number of characters for "Remote Password" and "Web Control Password" has been changed.
Before : Minimum number of characters is 0, maximum number of characters is 32
After : Minimum number of characters is 8, maximum number of characters is 32
(RED 2) If the "Remote Password", "Web Control Password", or "Passphrase" for Simple AP is set to 7 characters or fewer, the following message will be displayed.

(RED 3) Measures against a Brute-force attacks.
If the password(*) is incorrect when connecting to the projector using a web browser or ESC/VP.net, access from the same IP address will be restricted for 2 seconds.

(RED 4) Limitation on firmware downgrading.
To enhance security, downgrading from V262 or later is no longer possible. If you attempt to do so, the projector's LEDs will flash rapidly, and the downgrade will always fail.
* Note that a downgrading is not supported.
5) Remove the certification with the Monitor password for projector prohibition.
In V262 or later, the unit can certify projector prohibition using only the Web Control password.
[Usability improvement]
6) The specification for Remote Camera Access has been updated.
- The Remote Camera Access password has been deleted.
- When capturing via Remote Camera Access through Web Control, the confirmation process with the Remote Camera Access password has been removed.
- The default setting for Remote Camera Access in Password Protect has been changed to OFF.
