[Usability improvement]
1)Timing to set a default password of "Web Control Password" has changed as below.
- V1.08 or lower : Enter "Network settings" menu without setting the default password
- V1.09 or later : Enter "Network settings" menu without setting the default password, then complete the setting. A message window "Save the network settings?" pops up, then select "Yes".
2)"Help text" and "Number of characters that can be entered" were added to password entry screen of "Web Control Password" and "Remote Password" as below.
3)"Basic Control" menu was added under "Projector Control".(Network -> Network settings -> Projector Control)
- Change to "On" when using "Basic Control" under "Epson Web Control"
- Remote password entry screen is displayed when "Basic Control" menu is changed to "On" if Remote password has not been set.
4)Following 2 menus were added under "Initial/All Settings"
- Export Batch Settings
A batch setup file is exported to a USB storage device connected to the projector
- Import Batch Settings
A batch setup file stored in a USB storage device connected to the projector is imported (copied).
* Batch setup file can be exported/imported from/to a projector without special key operation using this menu.
* Projector is once turned off when exporting/importing the batch setup file. |

[Feature improvement]
- Comply with PSTI Act 2022 (For the details, please refer to "VP22-GNE-0118")
- "EPSON logo" shown during start-up process has changed to "Corporate logo" from
newly manufactured product with V1.06.
[Bug fixes]
- An error code "0899" is shown in "Event ID" under "Information" menu when following
conditions are met.
- SimpleAP : Off (Network settings -> SimpleAP)
- Accesss Point(SSID) : not selected
(Network settings -> WirelessLAN -> Search Access Point)
- Latest firmware information is not notified on Epson Projector Management (EPM) with V5.30 or later version.
* The bug does not influence firmware download via USB storage device or USB cable.
